VedaloHD, providers of performance enhancing sunglasses, debuted another technological first at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture July 26 - August 1, 2010 in Oshkosh, WI. Known since 2007 as "the guys with the revolutionary sun-filtering technology", VedaloHD can now offer their innovative HDL-3C® technology in a prescription lens.
"Previously, HDL-3C® technology was only available in non-prescription form, said Dan Jacobs, Founder of VedaloHD. We initially relied on CustomEyes™, a cool way to quickly custom manufacture clip-ons as the only outlet for presciption wearers to experince our innovative sun filtering science. Still, pilots were constantly asking us for prescription lenses because they wanted a better view of their Multi-Function Displays inside the cockpit as well as experienceing our increased visual accuity for seeing outside the cockpit; which is what all pilots know they get with VedaloHD's lens science."
After many years of research & development, a new patented technology called "mass tinting" allowed for the innovative HDL-3 science to be infused deep into the NXT (trivex) prescription lens material while it is produced in Italy. This creates superior prescription capability over any other Rx sun filtering product on the market.
